I changed the fuel pump, fuel filter, I'm not sure the name of this, but its like a little cylinder that helps transfer gas from the pump to the engine (Thats what the mechanic at the shop told me... hopefully not lying). I'm still having the same problem...I have already ordered the T.P.S today. I will change it myself tonight. Hopefully that will solve the problem. Thanks!!

Could be t.p.s. Throttle Position Sensor. Unplug it and take note on how it responds. It almost sounds like delayed ignition, backfiring etc. Check spark on all six cylinders.

Not positive but in the air breather there is a mass air flow sensor and sometimes air filter particles gets stuck on the sensor. It will look like a white piece of lint,if there is be careful to remove it and try it.Usually a backfire and sputtering is the signs

My 2000 park avenue starts fine but once it warms up it spits and sputters then dies and it wont start

If it is backfiring and dying I would be willing to bet you have a crank angle sensor going out when it get warmed up. Also check to see if your fuel pump is running by listening in the gas door with the cap off. I have had them do this when the fuel pump gets hot it quits pumping fuel.

87 Buick century 3.8l I replaced almost everything under the Hood plus fuel pump.filter runs great. Then starts missing like its running out of gas. But keep pumping the gas and it starts backfiring...

Is the check engine light on ?
If you really have replaced everything in the ignition and fuel system, that would leave the computer and the wiring harness.

1990 Chevy cut out when I give it gas

sounds like the carb may have blocked jet(s), worn diaphram ,air leak ,incorrect fuel/air mixture any of these will cause your problem , have the carb overhauled

Vehicle idle's fine but when you step on the gas it spits and sputters and backfires it is not out of time, new timing chain.

Sounds like it might be caused by low fuel pressure to the injectors. Maybe the fuel filter needs to be replaced. If that doesn't help, then it might also be the electric fuel pump in the gas tank.

Have replaced fuel pump, relay & fuel filter.

have you checked to see if you have a bad came or lifter. that would make it backfire. if it kind of spits fuel it maybe cam. if it throws fire than it could be timing like a bad chain.

While driving engine will lose power and start backfiring shut off for a while, restart and engine runs fine, replaced fuel filter two weeks ago, also had oxygen sensor and fuel level sensor replaced two...

usally back firing and no codes is a bad fuel pump or clogged pickup screen which is on the fuel pump.. you can get alge from the blended gasoline. see if you can run a prssure gauge to the out side of the hood and drive the truck, when the problems starts to happen look at the pressure. we had a k5 blazer do something similar. it would have 57 psi at start up and about 10 miles into dribving it we would have loss of power adn backfiring through the trottle body. feul pressure would drop to 17 psi. our pick screen was full of black alge from water in the gas.
