    sorry messed up a little. drivers window quit half way down and passengers window is fine.

On this model the most common problem is the window motor, sometimes u can get it to work again by banging on the door panel while holding the switch down.

I have a 96 VW Jetta and the driver side window stopped working. All the other windows still work. When the button is pressed it sounds like it tries to move but then stops. Any ideas


The window regulator may need replaced. A common problem for power window vechicles on the driver window, as to that window is most commonly used..

could be the driver side master window switch... if the driver side window switch assembly is broken then the windows will not work... try using a test light to see if you got power to the with and and ohm meter to check all four switches on the drivers side

2000 Daewoo Nubira driver window will go down but not fully up.


lock of power when it is going up check the wires then the motor that is working on rolling the window. If not good replace.

2006 Ford Taurus - drivers seat and power windows


I tried pushing in all of the wires under the seat to make sure there were no loose connections. I did not find any but the windows and seat worked after i did that.

Only rear power window wont work, front are fine.


the window motors are most likely no good
