Transmission sliping i had a winding noise happen a couple of times in the middle off driving. While it is doing this it does not respond when putting more pressure on gas pedal. It will last about 5 seconds then you can hear a gear catch then the noise stops and the truck continues to drive.Did the required prosedure to check tran flued it had nothing showing on the dippstick so i added a quart and a half.Still has done the same thing twice after adding flued. Not sure what to check for next.2005 f150 crewcab

I am willing to bet that the clutch packs went out since it was that low on oil because there are 2 pints in a quart and that is a lot of tranny fluid to be down i am going to say you need a rebuild on the tranny

I change the transmission fliter and put new transmission fluid .... I put my foot on the gas when i hit 25 mph it start sliping my 1993 bmw 325i ..these never happen before what can i do!!

Re-check the transmission fluid level. It's possible that the level has "settled" due to the work that you did on it, and may be low now, even though it appeared normal when first topped off.
Just a thought.

The series 700R4 that should be in your truck is known for having problems with the reaction shell inside the trans breaking and it will make a grinding noise. If you have 4WD it also could be transfer case issue .
