Question about 1995 Pontiac Sunfire
Ok.. so I am hearing clunk noises when I go over bumps in the road. I had the entire car checked two months ago and the mechanic said it all looked good. I noticed the tie-rods are looking real old and prob need replacement. Would this cause that sound? Or would it be something more serious like the suspension, springs, etc? When I push down on the car, it springs back up. So I don't think it's that.. help?
Check the front struts ( shock absorber ) If original or very old, they are doing no good. Also check the front TORSION BAR rubber bushings. In low temps will groan and creak, on up and down motions.
