Thanks for your input, I took my car to a a reputible shop and it was determined that my heater control valve was leaking. Not sure if its the same as the heater core but that seemed to have been the problem, $455 Dollars later, then I was told that my air compressor is not working properly and that will be another $900...looks like I'll be without air for awhile. What to do?

My '95 XJS is doing the same thing. I happened across a Jag mechanic at the gas station that helped me track it back to my heater valve as well. However, I must say that $455 sounds VERY steep. I see the part all over online for $30 to $75, and it looks like I could replace it myself within 5-10 min. (I'm not a mechanic is my point.) I also hope you meant A/C compressor and not air compressor as your car does not have an air compressor. (Not to be technical, just to make sure who ever told you that is keeping it on the level.) Personally, I'd get a 2nd opinion about the compressor just to make sure they're not looking to make $. Your compressor is the main unit in your A/C, and the easiest way out or to make a buck is to just replace that rather than trouble shoot it to see if it's a replaceable part. (My home A/C had issues and I called out 3 techs. First two told me $2200+ for a new unit. 3rd guy figured out it was a valve that cost me $20 & 1/2hr labor. I had the exact same scenario with my Acura 3 years ago.)

What happens if you run a 2003 jaguar s-type 3.0 without air filter?

You ruin the motor, as you well know, from dirt entering it

You also have the problem you have

Improper reading of MAF Sensor & then
can't properly control fuel trim

Now the MAF needs to be cleaned, when you
install the air filter & wash all the intake ducting

My 2009 ford focus air conditioning smells like coolant

It sounds like you may have a slight heater core leak and when you turn on your air, it's simply "stirring up" the smell. I've never seen this issue ina Focus but i have in a '97 Bonneville. The heater core is located behind the dash and requires complete dash removal to locate. It's a rough job to tackle alone. A lot of shops can run a "leak test" where they run a pink dye through your A/C system and see if it leaks anywhere. You may simply have a dry-rotted hose or bad seal. But my bet is the heater core, as thats the only place antifreeze enters the interior of a vehicle. Try smelling up under the dash on the passenger side and see if the smell exists there. If so, it's a heater core leak. Hope this helped!

Air condition water leakage under dashboard

Most likely the heater core is leaking and requires replacement.
As a temporary measure you may block off the coolant supply to the heater core - note you will also need to block off the coolant return line.

Hi,iv got 2002 jaguar s type r last week it started leaking engine cooling liquid from back of engine above gearbox i tried evrything to see where it was coming from but couldnt find out so i assumed it...

yes you got it in one,, its an air lock stoping the water going round the heater, you need to blead the air out rad seal wont block up the heater,,,,iv used it many times,,,my old truck ran with it in for years!
look for a bleed scew on a water pipe and open it with the motor running let water ran out till no air is in it, top up header tank as well

Steering difficult(slow) and a whining noise when turning wheel

The whine is most likely your power steering pump. Check the fluid in the pump. If you are low on power steering fluid you may have a leaking hose or fitting or the seals in the pump may have began leaaking. If you continue to run the auto without power steering fluid you will burn up the power steering pump very quickly.
