when I am driving even if I am at 60 mph the car's rpms will go from 2-4 or back and forth and and you can feel the truck slowing down and then it will go away. If I am at a complete stop and goto apply the gas sometimes it will go just fine but most times lately it will have no power as I push the gas pedal to the floor and then when I come off the gas it will start to go a little faster. Do you know what is causing this is it the transmission or something else? We just replaced the spark plugs Sunday. Please help.

This is either low fuel pressure or a defective Mass Air flow sensor

Your fuel injectors are fouled. You can try some injector cleaner but I have never had any luck with any of them. What is happening is they are letting to much fuel threw and when you let off the gas it leans the fuel air mixture to make it seem like it's running better. GM injectors are pretty easy to do but they are expensive.

Pajero sometimes do not respond to accelerator, and then gives reasonable response to the pressure exerted on excelerator in next 2 min whats the problem?why engine suspend its respond to accelerator

Check contact box and also clean all moving parts. May have moisture too. Spray small amount of WD40 around everything. Use nothing else. WD40 disperses moisture, cleans and lubricates.

Will not excelerate past 4000 rpm

IF you have a carby then take it apart and clean it out as all the throats are not working properly including the accelerator pump.

Loud whistle on right side excelerates as I excelerate. stops at 20-15 miles an hour

ensure that your exhaust pipes do not have a problem. as you accelerate more explosion comes out the exhuast pipes and if there is a "hole" in it then the whistle will get louder as you accelrate more.

Cuts out when excelerating like its not getting fuel? also backfires when excelerating-has newer spark plugs all checked and tune up-still has the same issue

Mine does the same thing(same year) and my best guess is....
It only seems to do it when its really low on gas. On the expedition the pump is located near the back of the gas tank(when backed into a driveway the gas gauge reads significantly less gas than what is really in there) so when accelerating the gas sloshes around and the pump doesnt get enough gas to keep it running. Hope this helps.
