Check brakes first..frozen.calipers or internally failed brake flex hoses may be causing brakes to remain on. Additional load may be causing engine to overheat. Likely if this has gone on for any length of time rotors have overheated and need to be replaced as well.

Driver side brake caliber is locking after the brakes are applied. It will losing if you tap the break pedal

sounds like the slide pins need to be looked at for ware, marks, scoreing. If there is no marks then just regrease and put back in ,but make sure you use grease that is recomended for break calipers.if cost is a factor for the grease then you can use high temp bareing grease.they also have replacements at most autoparts stores if 1 should break.if this doesnt fix it then start looking at the rubber break line as these can swell inside over time and particles can collect in side it and mess with the fluid flow, those are the cheepest to replace.after those then comes checking the proportioning valve and or master cylinder.and maybe replaceing the caliper its self.

Right rear brake is locking up on my 2000 dodge neon. what do i do?

Check to see if it is drum or disc first. Depending on which one it is, it could be a simple adjuster problem for drum brakes or if it is disc breaks you may have a bad caliper. The only way to find out is to take it apart and look at what the car has for brakes.

Stalling and brakes wont work properly on 1999 chevy monte carlo

Stalling, could be fuel filter, plugs, plug wires, fuel injectors. Brakes, could be air in lines, defective calipers and pads. Remove one wheel and check the thickness of the pad and look for any leaks. I you intend to replace the pads you will need certain tools, antinseizing compound, and high temp break grease.
