Question about 2002 GMC Yukon Denali

Open Question

Front A/C and Heat NOT working

I have a 2002 GMC Yukon Denali. My A/C and Heating isn't working in the front when turning the knobs on or even turning the settings on high. The rear A/C and heating works fine at any setting. I looked at the fuses under the engine hood and none seem to be shorted out or anything. I even changed the fuses for the air and a/c just to make sure. are there any other fuses I should look at? Please, I need your help!

Do you mean "no fan at all" or "no temp control"? If it's no fan, change the control head in dash, it's about 170. If you know someone who owns one ask to test yours in theirs. It's plug n play. Don't ask to put theirs in yours! if there is more than one problem you don't want to damage theirs as well! Next: if it's temp control, you need to have the oriface filter replaced under the hood in the line. it's only a $10 part but controls your freon flow and temp. Mine did the same thing, I have an 01 and have replaced just about everything on it now! 233k and still goin strong. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: '04 GMC Yukon Denali Check Engine Light

Did u put in fuel shortly before the light came on? I own 2 service centers & the most common situation with "Check Engine" lights are because the fuel cap wasn't re-installed or not tightened. When you refuel make sure it "clicks" when putting back on. We don't charge for a "Code Reading" but a dealer will, don't go there. Go, like the others suggested. If it is the fuel cap & you re-install it correctly, the light will go off after a short drive. Good Luck. PS-Don't panic when the "Check Engine" light comes on unless it blinks, if that happens don't drive. PSS-RE: Murray's, Auto-Zone.......If it's a "Code" (the reader will give a #) the code book will tell you the problem. PSSS-Some1 please have Troy W's Mommy & Daddy take away his keyboard. Just because you can put together a "Lego" car doesn't make you a master mechanic. You only repeated what we said except you have a "Napoleon" complex against any1 plugging something in to a vehicle. It's the same as plugging in a light @ home. In conjunction with "kinder" nine out of ten time in my experience it usually is the oxygen sensor(s) which would be about right with the year model

SOURCE: Heated seats won't stay on in 2004 GMC Yukon Denali

There is a widespread problem with electrical shorts with the seat warmers. I bought the extended warranty through CarMax and theyy fixed it. Retail repair cost on that would have been $900+. It may be covered by GMC via a recall, but only if you raise enough hell.

I drive 2002 yukon denali and was making a sharp turn when the front wheels lock. They wont turn, i finally got them to turn enough to back up out of the way. It looks like it has enough ps fluid

a broken CV or UJ on a drive shaft can cause the steering to lock up , jack up front end and check for damage to the drive shaft's rubber covers to the drive joints, push/pull wheels in and out , as in steering motion while spinning wheel and feel if there is anything restricting a smoth movement , hope this helps

Front seat heaters not working in a 2002 yukon denali

Make sure to check out the power fuse with the multimeter and check the switch. Most probably its due to burning of seat heater wiring.

02 GMC Denali front heated seats won't work

test to see if you have any power going through all the connectors for the seat heater, there may be a spot where there is a connector that has gone bad, or potentially it could be the whole element that is bad
