Honda cr-v stopped working after battery replacement

My Honda CR-v stops running as soon as the brakes are applied,right after having battery replaced

    dude it was the Clifford anti theft. it malifunctioned and was stuck in valet mode. i went to best buy and it properly removed. $50

I bet a vacuum hose got knocked off during the battery swap. Look for any small hoses disconnected. Check near the back of the engine, too. there should be a hose that goes from your brake's master cyclinder to the back of the engine. I suspect that one.

Rear Noise on Honda CR-V when turning


it sounds like you brakes are bad or going bad, block front wheels so they cant move!!!! jack up the back of the crv till tires are 1" to 2" off the ground, put shifter in N stop and spinn back wheels by hand lision for the noise, it is probably the brake squeaker on the brake pad and needs to be replaced

possibly the blower speed resistor has burnt out . call an auto parts store and see if they carry the kind you need for replacement

built into the brake pads is a small bit of metal that when the pads get to low to be safe , runs on the rotor and produces the squeal applying the brakes stops the vibration so the noise drops off

1997 Honda Crv. Vehicle stalls without warning and will not start for about 10 minutes. Then drives ok for 20-30 miles and then stalls without warning.


what you have is a bad ignition module, when it get hot it stops working, soon it will not start any more, replace it sit in distributor.
