I had 2 , 88s, and know it well. too well, would like to forget it.....
93 is best old year.
no Renix thank almighty
rule 1: renix, ends.
1991 - Chrysler Corporation (then the owners of the Jeep brand replaced the Renix control system with OBD-I-compliant control electronics, the Chrysler HO EFI).
a blessing as scan tools now work.

same as Cherokee which engine the 4 liter, I-6 or the 2.5L?
diagram. of what,?
physical lay out.?
fuel side.?
electrical, ?
all? the FSM covers this, all of it. and on mine the I6 has its own book.

try, log in and read. then ask questions.

no posted symptoms.
1: runs bad????
2; got the engine in basket,
3: got car and engine in 3000 pieces.? (done many like this)
4: all this was removed, and want to put it back.?

I have hiace 2009 2kd turbo i can't run it the edu and ecu ,carnck sensor are knew also the injectors are good but there is no electeic conect to fule pump and iinjectors i try all parts (cpu edu .in

Is this a translation from another language? I suggest you take English grammar and spelling lessons, then come back with a legible question so we can answer it. Please.

From what I can gather, there's no power to your fuel pump. Did you test it with an outside power source? How about the harness, is there continuity in all of the wires?

Fule injectors have no eletrical pulse

No pulse from the injectors signals that the ecu is not sending those signals. Could be the crank sensor is bad or the ecu itself is bad. Have it checked out.

I have a 91 talon tsi awd. the kid i got it off did some stupid thing with the stock wiring harness. now the car has a problem starting but after start up the car is a beast. i feel like the car isn't...

Since this is 91, its likely that the original engine has been replaced, and various other mods have been done. Essentially you need ot figure out what the previous owner did, and either fix it or ignore it.

A common "trick" with the wiring is to change the MAF sensor (on the air filter can) around to get more fuel at high boost. Pull off the 8 pin connector and check for bent pins. Check for 5V (NOT +12v) on one of the pins, as this is the MAF sensor supply voltage.

Other issues are the coolant temp sensor (2 pin sensor with black? connector on the themostat housing) connection.

If the temp sensor is not properly connected, or the wrong sensor for the engine, it will be hard to start esspecially when cold.

If possible, verify what ECU is fitted. The 90-91 ECU has slightly different pin connections to the 92-94.

You may also have fuel pump relay issues. This is the large can in the center console, near the ECU.
Open the ECU and check the large electrolytic capacitors for leaks. Its a common problem, and there various people around who will replace them before they destroy the ECU board.

Check all the vacuum hoses for cracks and leaks. Check the hoses for the intercooler and up to the throttle body.

Have a look at for more information.

The fule injector is not getting any power is there any thing in betwin the ECU and the injector? 1992 suzuki sidekick 1.6 EFI 8V

most fuel injectors have a continuous power supply with the key on. they are controlled on the ground side by the ecm. there is no relay or anything between the ecu and the injectors. there is a lot of wiring though and there are fuses which supply power to the injectors.
