must be a v-6?
You will need to remove the drive axle on the passenger side in order to get enough room to pull the alternator out. Its not to bad to do.
Separate the lower ball joint from the passenger front knuckle.
remove the axle nut and push the axle out of the hub.
remove the two bolts that hold the carrier bearing on the drive axle to the support bracket.
You will then be able to remove the entire axle from the vehicle. Have a drip pan ready to catch any trans fluid that may come out of the opening the axle goes into on the transmission.
Once the axle is out of the way you can remove the three bolts that hold the alternator in place. the top one only needs to be loose as the hole in the alt should be sloted. Unplug the connector and remove the battery cable from the alt. It will be a rubix cube but there will be a position that the alt will need to be in that will allow the alt drop come out of the opening left by the removal of the drive axle.
