Sounds like the connector wire to the speakers is loose. Or perhaps there is another hook-up for an auxilliary input that is confusing the radio. Or you are near a concrete bridge or building or granite hills which block reception.

SOURCE: mazda rx8 fault code p0410

The P0410 code refers to the (secondary air system) emissions system. The AIR pump puts air to the exhaust to lower emissions. It takes in outside air and pumps it through two one-way check valves into each bank of the exhaust.
.
About 90% of the time that this code is set, the one-way check valves have worn out or failed and allow water (which occurs naturally in the exhaust) back into the pump. In any cold climate, especially in climates with higher humidity, this water may be more excessive. The water partially fills the AIR pump, it can then freeze. When the PCM commands the pump on, if the pump is frozen it cannot turn, thus overloading the circuit and "popping" the fuse.

A code P0410 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:

  • Water may have collected in the AIR pump or the vent solenoid and frozen or corroded the pump
  • Blown AIR pump fuse due to freezing up
Possible solution:
This may be covered under the emissions warranty on the vehicle. If your vehicle is out of bumper-to-bumper warranty, check if the emissions warranty is still valid!
  • Replace the AIR pump AND one-way check valve
  • Test and clean the AIR pump AND test and replace the one-way air check valve
  • Replace the AIR pump inlet hose
  • Replace the AIR pump fuse (found under the hood)
It is really only an emissions issue and won't harm your car's engine ot drivetrain. It will however mean you won't pass emission testing if you live somewhere that tests for that like I do!

SOURCE: how to change spark plugs 2004 mazda rx8

Jack the drivers side up and secure on jack stands. Remove the drivers side front wheel. You can then reach through the fender well to remove and reinstall the spark plugs.

SOURCE: how do i change both front and rear brake pads on

CHANGING FRONT BRAKE PADS
Jack up the car. Take off your tire. Find the bolt on the back of the caliper and take it off. This should release the caliper, pull the caliper off the disc. Now you should be able to take the pad out. Replace the pad. You'll need a special tool to reset the caliper. As the brakes wear down, the caliper gets tighter so the brakes still work. I'm not sure exactly what its called, but you can borrow one from auto zone. Follow the instructions that come with it to reset the caliper. Slide the caliper back over the disc. If it doesn't go on, you need to reset the caliper more. Put the relese bolt back in. Put your tire back on.Drive slowly and test the brakes.
CHANGING THE REAR BRAKE PADS
The rear brakes on the rx8 are a bit different than most setups...be careful! The only way to move the piston back into the caliper is by way of a special allen head bolt that is directly behind the piston, on the back side of the caliper, installed under a 14mm bolt.
You have to remove this bolt to gain access to the allen head. As you loosen the allen head bolt(counter-clockwise), the piston will move back into the caliper.
Installation is pretty typical, again, the allen head bolt being the unusual part. The manual says to tighten this bolt until the pads contact the rotor, then loosen the bolt 1/3rd of a turn, then reinstall the 14mm bolt.

SOURCE: mazda rx8 flooded .brakedown come tried to start

Your problem is common in the RX-8. It occurs when you start a cold engine and shut it off before it reaches normal operating temperature. If your car does flood, you can first try depressing the accelerator completely and holding it (which shuts off the fuel pump) and then crank the motor for about 10 seconds (not longer or you may damage your starter). If this procedure above does not work, here is the technique a Mazda dealership will normally use (to be performed at your own risk): 1. Use jumper cables to connect to another car battery. 2. Unplug Air pump connector (the black circular motor housing to the left of the oil filler cap) 3. Take fuel pump fuse out (number 22, a 20 amp, 3 from the top of the second column of the fuse box 4. Crank for 4 seconds, pause for 2 seconds, repeat for about a minute 5. Leave for a minute 6. Crank for 4 seconds, pause for 2 seconds, repeat for about a minute 7. Put fuel pump fuse back in 8. Crank for up to 10 seconds, if it catches but doesn?t start, stop cranking 9. If not started go back to step 3 10. If started, wait 30 seconds for oil pressure to rise 11. Stand on throttle until white smoke stops coming out of the exhaust 12. Disconnect jump leads 13. Leave to warm up on idle for a few minutes 14. Put air pump connector back on (see note 3) 15. Go for a nice long drive to recharge the battery

2003 MPV. Room Fuse would immediately blow when replaced - as a result, no audio, auto doors, interior lights, etc. It would blow without the key in the ignition so I knew it had to be something that operated without the electric being turned on. Started guessing by pulling the fuses for the auto doors then retrying the Room Fuse.. Room Fuse continued to blow. Then went through interior lighting - started taking out bulbs and disconnecting lighting connections trying to isolate the issue.. popped the visor mirrors out and noticed one of the connections had come loose.. reconnected, popped in another Room Fuse, and presto! Everything back to normal - lucky me.
