Question about 1998 Lincoln Continental
My 1998 Lincoln Continental sat for a few months and everything is working just perfectly except now the wind shield washer fluid is not pumping out. I do not here the motor trying to pump at all somebody help please. As the rainy season is almost upon us here in Michigan. :-) thanks in advance
First loosen and, remove one of the hoses that go to the sprayer then operate the wiper pump you should see the fluid come out of the hose. if it does not come out and, no sound is made from the pump check your fuses if the fuse is ok (find the fuse location in your user manual ) replace the pump motor you can get a replacement at an autoparts store. don't forget to replace the hose.
