Question about 1999 Chevrolet Venture
I have a 1999 chevy venture and after it rains really bad it wont start whe I try to turn it on the light under the P flashes but thats about it. I did put in a new battery over the winter. What coukd be the problem.
I would check to make sure the battery cables are free of corrosion, tight, and dry. The next step would be to test the battery (either with a multimeter, or an auto parts store can usually test it for free). Other options could be the starter connections could be loose/corroded, the ground wiring is loose or corroded, or there is a short in the wiring. Always remember to make sure you disconnect the battery when working with any electrical systems on the car. Negative first, the positive.
