Question about 2000 Audi A4
This Audi A4 2.0 litre is nine years old & the fault is as follows; The car starts well but after being driven for 3 miles or more it will not start again from the ignition key. All dashboard lights come on but there is no engine cranking. It is possible to start the car giving the starter motor a live feed to the solenoid. When the car is running it is always fine, but turn it off & it will not crank over. If the car is left long enough it can be started from the key again, but the same issues reoccur. All starter motor checks seem ok & there is a feed from the ignition switch, i can go into more detail if needed. Thanks, Ray
Your have a bad starter relay look at owner manual for location and replace
