How can I get my vw jetta cli started, it just stopped running and swings slowly when I start it, it has got a blue spark coming out of the coil's high tension outlet,it drains the battery but won't start when I crank it, the spark goes on and off at the spark plugs, there is also a sound as if there oil is not enough even though it is, fuel runs well, what could be the problem, what should I do?

check for spark when turning over if no spark change the coil lots of coils on vw go bad if you have spark then its the throttle body ..

sounds like multiple issues...check coil for spark no spark bad coil and fuel pump relay blown?

The coil pack on these are bad about being defective. You need to check to see if you have power coming from your coil pack. If you do not try changing it out, this produces 60k +/- volts that goes through your ignition wires, to your spark plugs and ignites the gas on combustion with the piston. If it's not giving off a spark, thenyou're not getting power to fire off the engine.

Change the crankshaft senser firstly.The if no spark, the only other thing is the coil pack.

I had the same symptoms and found I had suffered from turbo failure and the final cost at the dealer was $3500, last VW I will ever own. I hope this isn't your trouble too, good luck

You may have a bad coil pack - try moving two of them around and see if the misfire follows the coil pack or stays at the same cylinder. If it follows the coil pack, get a new one. If it stays in the same cylinder, inspect your spark plug wires and make sure the plug is gapped correctly.
