P0174 means that the computer has detected that the engine is running lean (too much air or not enough gas). Start engine and listen for a whistling noise. If you can't find it you may have to go to a repair shop so they can do a "smoke" test to make the leak visible. If not repaired, can lead to major damage such as burnt valves.

WHAT CAN I DO TO FIX MY AUTO HAVE CODES P0171 P0174 01000 P2195 P2197 WHAT ARE THE CODES.

P0171 & P0174 are lean codes.this can be cause by a vacuum leak. One of the symptoms is a ruff idle when cold.

You can listen for it or you can have it smoke checked by a shop. Most common causes are intake plenum gaskets and rotted PVC hoses.

2005 ford explorer had sudden loud knocking and codes P0174, P0300,P0316

Well code 174 is for a lean fuel system on bank two.
Code 300 is for a random miss and code 316 is for a miss on startup.
For some reason you may not be getting enough fuel to the cylinders on bank two, or you could have a major vac leak.

Engine light came on 2000 toyota avalon. auto zone said error code indicated it needed a new charcoal canister for emissions. today, car sounds ruff as if valves are knocking and wanting to stop at low...

Take the vehicle to a close by local repair shop, that has been
in the same place & same owner for 25 years or more

The chain store places aren't what you need

You need a proper diagnoses of the entire cars engine etc

I have a 2001 Windstar. There is a knocking

Sounds to me that a connecting rod stretched and ready to brake. When it is running does the noise get less when u bring the rpm up or louder if it gets less sounds like the rod if gets more could be what your mechanic said hard to say .....hopes this helps some

P1320 trouble code plus

The P1320 code is essentially a coil primary voltage problem. This is traceable using a labscope or accurate DVOM and perhaps you can isolate one or two coils that still work but are close to failure...but there is a nissan service message recommending replacement of ALL coils with updated/improved models to prevent this type of failure. TCS/SLIP is traction control. Most likely you have a speed sensor issue. Be aware, some vehicles can falsely illuminate TCS because of low tire pressure in a single wheel.

Ford f-150 running rough

Ok P0174 Is bank 2 (drivers side) is running lean
P0350 is an ignition coil primary circuit malfunction
P1127 indicates the HO2S heater(s) were not on during KOER Self-Test and testing of the HO2S did not occur.Engine not operating long enough prior to performing KOER Self-Test.
P1780 means that the OD switch on gear shifter was not cycled off then on during self test.
I would recommend re-running your self test and make sure to warm the engine up first and make sure to cycle the od switch on/off during the test and recheck the codes.
P0174 lean code could be caused by a miss-fire and P0350 could be caused by anything in the ignition(coil,plug,wires,etc.).
If the P0174 and P0350 repeat I would concentrate on the cylinders in bank 2. If you have a spark tester you could hook it to each of those plug wires individually and look for a weak spark. or try and unhook each wire one at a time and see if you can find a weak cylinder that way by the amount of rpm drop and replace the components on that cylinder and retest.

Engine light

you have to scan it and see what code is in it if it's a p0171 or p0174.check for vaccum leaks.they will cause both your engine light to come on and run rough.if you have ap0301.p0302 ect.that means you have a miss fire
