The power steering ceases to work on my 2005 S type Jaguar after a journey in excess of say 20 miles, It then reactivates after being parked

Have you checked the fluid levels ?? you could have a leak in the system hope this helps regards Jim

What is included in the 90000 mile service for a 2000 S-type Jaguar?


Depending if you kept up with recommended maintenance as per factory. If you did this is what the factory sheet suggests for 90000 Miles checkup :
Diagnose / Test Vehicle : verify parking brake operation
Inspect : Battery Brake fluid Brake pad Coolent Drive belt Fluids Power steering fluid Tires Windshield Washer Reservoir
Replace : Air filter element Cabin air filter Engine oil and sump washer Engine oil filter Wiper blades

Excessive wear on 1997 s type jags rear brakes


Unfortunatly this is normal, nothing can be done about it. Get pads checked every 15,000 miles to save discs.

GEARSHIFT COMES OUT OF PARK WITHOUT THE KEY IN THE IGNITION


It could be the selenoid lock it self , which is located at he front of the Selector. You might need to remove the selector and test it if it is working properly. As it should be working for safety reasons
