Question about 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan
I have replaced my output speed sensor twice now
every other time I go on a road trip longer than 200km my output speed sensor goes
the first time I used a 10 dolar wrecker one and the second time I shelled out 60bucks for a new one and I am worried that it will fail again
should I replace the input speed sensor? or could it be some other problem?
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

The buzzing sound is from the torque convertor lock up solenoid, there is a fuse for this under the hood to verify thats the problem from the buzzing, next where did you get the vss,if it's not oem from a dealer than I would think it's the problem also using a obii scan tool check and clear any codes,so as far as not starting is this from a dead battery or other issue I would unhook the vss and see if it can start.

No preferences as to charger, as long as it has trickle charge option (slower, but better for battery). Would like to see battery load test done by parts store to see battery condition, but a simple charge may be it. Let me know how it goes, hopefully you will have it up and running soon.

It is located on the front of the transmission. you will see 2 of them one on the left under small transmission lines it is the input then to the right behind the radiator overflow there is the other one. Easiest way to change them is with a 1" deep well socket

with most front wheel drives you must remove the passenger tire and reach through to the starter bolt with an extension and if I remember write with a 15 mm socket you can reach through and take out the bolt
