Question about 1993 Ford Festiva
My fuel gauge read full this morning and I know I dident use a full tank of gas today. Now it is reading right at E. When I turn the vehicle off the needle will drop below E and when I turn the vehicle on it goes back up to E. I put gas in the car to see if someone siphered my gas or if I had a fuel leak and it stills read E. Then my Speedometer quit working. I don't know if they are both on a common circuit or if my speedometer cable just came off? Right now its late and I'm frustrated so any suggestions will not only help me fix the car but get my wife off my back and out of my ear. Thank you for your time and help.
I loved the old festivas but iam not sure about the speedo. but i think your sending unit whent bad on you for the gas gauge. but first check and make sure a wire didnt come off the sending unit at the fuel tank
