When signal lights stay on at indicators there's usually bad bulbs or the headlight switch is no good it's a self warning in the system check the bulbs for good elements if okay I'm pretty sure that the headlight switch is n / g
when was yer last tune up and a possible draw to the battery such as glove box stays lit ive seen this or a trunk light will cause the power loss .i hope you get a tune up winter is approaching ..ps if ck engine light is on midas will diagnosis for free

you have to clear all the codes first, your vehicle stored fault even when the battery was replaced it created trouble codes. have it reseted and see if it comes back on.
