Question about Hyundai Motor 1998 Accent

Rear strut problem

When driving and hitting a bump the car, 98 hyundai accent hits very hard and the back end kind of kicks out a little. Thought it might be the rear strut because of how hard it hits.

2003 acura rsx strut noise . When I turn hard left or hit a bump, I occassionally hear a thud in the right wheel.

It could be a number of things; sway bar bushings or link ends, ball joints, tie rod ends, or strut mounts...as well as possibly a strut, but really the other things are more common to fail than the struts. Take the car to a couple of shops that do free front end checks and get some opinions. Most small independent shops will have a look for free in hopes of getting the job. Also, if you have custom wheels, try taking them off and go for a drive with the stock wheels. Often times, custom wheels have the wrong offset or are too wide and cause all kinds of problems.

My heater in my 2002 Hyundai Accent quit blowing. I took the dash out where the stereo is to see what I could find and my dash lights quit working. I thought I had a lose wire of some sort because...

what you need is a new blower motor. It is located under/behind the glove box. The reason that it comes on when you hit a bump is because it jars the brushes in the blower motor to make better contact then when you hit another bump it losses contact.

When i hit a bump, the back end of my 2000 eldorado fishtails. Why?

It's likely caused by a worn out strut or struts in the rear. You hit a bump and the wheel bounces because the strut is not damping properly. This causes an effect sort of like riding on only 3 wheels because the bouncing wheel is not supporting the vehicle steadily while it's hopping.

it sounds like upper strut mounts or the struts themselves need to be replaced try autozone.com to see if they have your car listed for diagrams pictures and step by step instructions if your car is not listed then try your local library they have all the car manuals and even copy them for you
