Sounds like you may have seized the engine. Running a engine without oil is veryy bad and can cause major damage. This will be a very costly repair.

How much to fix broke transmission line on jaguar xj8 2002

it depends on which line it is. Usually the rubber hoses perish at the front of the car to the oil cooler. The steel lines are less prone to fail unless you are in an area where they use a lot of salt on the road in winter or it has been mechanically damaged. If it is the rubber hoses you can replace these with good quality hydraulic hose. Use good quality hose clips. Alternatively if there is a hydraulic shop near you they can repair and crimp the lines. They may even be able to make new ones up. Do not drive the car with leaking pipes as low oil level in the g/box will damage it.

I posted about this yesterday but forgot to put that I broke the oil pan. Fixed that but don't know if the smoking has anything to do with that or it's just coincidence? It didn't smoke before that so

I'm sure it is related if you ran out of oil. The other possibility is you got oil on the exhaust pipes and that takes some time to burn off completely.

What's the likely cause for an oilcooler to mix

The passages that the oil runs through inside the oil cooler have likely become corroded and are allowing oil out/coolant in. This has been an ongoing issue with vehicles using extended life antifreeze, particularly Dexcool. The antifreeze becomes corrosive and rapidly wears components that it passes through, i.e. radiator, heater core, oil cooler, etc.

Hi.my 1999 vw polo classic 1.4i is blowing oil with pressure from the o-ring on the oil filter. just finished overhauling the engine. didnt replace the oil pump though.have resorted to replacing the entire...

First check and see if the seal on the filter lines up right. Use your filter wrench to snug the filter a little extra. Try to put a manuel oil presure gauge on it. If this fails Im assuming having just rebuilt the engine you have a manuel. Check it out and find out where your oil pressure regulator is. Its probably sticking.

I have a mazda tribute 2002 .and i hit a big dip and now under the engine sounds like a go kart.it looks like the exust pipe next to the oil filter has poped off

It sounds like you cracked/broke your exhaust pipe. Best thing to do is find an exhaust shop that can go in and weld the pipes back together. If you broke one of your exhaust hangers and the pipes are lower than they should be they can take care of that for you too.

Rusted through Oil pipe

Try a VW car and van Breaker. You may need to take the pipe of the breakers car, so take some tools with you. You could try a motor factors other than VW. Hope that helps you.
