THe speed sensor should be mounted somewhere on the Transmission. From what I have found in the past it is mostly located more toward the rear on the lefthand side of the transmission. But should be somewhere on the Tranny.
On the transmission. i have a extra good 1. let me know if u want to buy it. it retails for $375.00, i'll sell mine to u for $275.00 [email protected] your question sounds just like the problem my car was having before i bought it. it ended up being just the speedometer cable, or throttle cable.
