1990 mercury cougar need to change flasher but cannot locate unless I don't know what I'm looking for. Have a pic? The autopart store's part does not look like anything under my dash! Plz help.

Ford/Mercury sometimes mounts the turn signal/hazard flasher way up under the dash behind the instrument cluster. Look at the flasher from the part store as reference. You might need a mirror to look around under your dash in areas not in plain sight.

Dash light fuse is there one

There is no fuse...i had the same problem on my buick regal (2003). You need to take dash apart and take the instrument cluster out and have it repaired. If you look on ebay under " instrument cluster repair" you will find people / companies that do tjis and you will see that it fixes the symptoms you are is unfortunatley a common issue

92 Camaro gauges quit working after a spark under the dash while I was driving down the road. Checked fuses and none are blown. Lights on dash still work.

If all voltages checked ok, then most probably its faulty instrument cluster board on which gauges are connected. Yes if cluster circuit board looks ok, then also it can be faulty. Somewhere there is minute short or burn on board then such problem arises.

Also check the fuse box. One under hood and other under dash.

Inspect each and every fuse and see if all are fine or not.

How do you get to the dash lights to replace the bulbs?

Yes , you will have to remove it, be careful with the plastic and the wiring connectors, you might have to lower steering column and the covers around the top of it. Hope this helps!

The red electrial connector on the main circuit board (of instrument cluster panel) has one and/or several soldered pins that have broken away or become loose at the soldered area. The soldered connections may look o.k., however, under a magnifying glass you can see a circular crack all around the protruding soldered pin. Fire up the soldering iron- use a fine point, add a tad of new rosin core solder and fix the crack. There may be trouble codes associated with this condition: P1695 and/or P1698; when you go to pull the Instument cluster out of the dash, jiggle to wire connector at the back of the IC with key 'on', and look at the odometer; if it flashes on/off, this is most likely the problem

Temperature gage broke oil pressure gage broke and dash lights broke

Dash lights sounds like you have a fuse or relay bad and that could include your gauges as well. Look under the hood for anything marked "cluster" in the fuse panel. If not there, it should be under the driverside of the dash.
