Question about Volvo 240
Hello, I have an '84 Volvo 240 DL. It's been running fine lately, but a few troubles. A few months now my car will randomly shut off. For example, one night i was driving home from work. At night time, and i was flicked my high beams on and i lost all electrical power, including stearing, and the engine shut off. I thought i could get it to start back up while i was driving, so i put it in neutral (while the car was still going down the hill) to try to get it to turn over. And when I turned the key nothing happened at all. Luckily I had enough speed from going down the hill to pull over to my house. Usually what i have to do is just jiggle the wires comming off the battery. Although it't very random and i'm worried if it will just turn off while im on the highway or something. I'm not sure if its just loose wires, or if something is umplugged or what. So any input would be great.
