Question about 1998 Ford Explorer
I have a 1998 2 door ford explorer sport 4.0 V6. I checked the fuel pump and it works. I also checked the spark plugs and the wires and there good, its getting spark. Please help me I need a car to get to work.
Is the engine light on, if so any codes read. I've had this happen to a couple of customers. And it was water in the gas tank. If your confident that you have good spark then I would suggest to focus on the fuel system and run diagnostics. Check fuel PSI. on the fuel rail, should be over 35PSI if not if may be a defective pressure reg. or other defect. Good luck.
