Dies when turning right

My 1999 Chevy Silverado dies when turning right? I thought about changing the fuel pump but then was told it could possibly be in the steering column. What should I do?

The best advise is to bring ur ctruck to ur dealer or garage, to have them analyze ur computer w/ their system analyzer, u could save time and money.

That analyzer will pin point the error in ur SENSORS and DiAGNOSE ur system!

1999 chevy silverado won't start.

You need to test the fuel pressure with a special gauge, the pressure should be greater then 35PSI. The Vortec set up has more to it but what you seem to be discribing is a faulty fuel pump. Im assuming that the fuel filter was changed too. But you need to have a special tool that will allow you to isolate the fuel flow from the tank to the engine. popular reasons for fuel system failiers are filter, pump, fuel pressure reg. valve(located underneath the plenum) and not common but maybe fuel pump relay.

Changed oil pressure switch, still no oil pressure

The fuel pump on that model runs through the oil pressure switch so that if the truck looses oil pressure,It kills power to the fuel pump to prevent engine damage.you need to find the cause of the low oil pressure reading(possibly a bad oil switch). That would be the cheapest place to start,or have it checked with a mechanical gauge.Good luck,

Power steering - 1999 chevy silverado

You're going to have to bleed the system alot on those trucks. Just remove the return line and have an assistant turn the steering wheel back and forth just enough to engage the pump and filling the resevour while doing this. Keep bleeding until you have a good flow of P/S fluid out with no air bubbles. This can take a while.
