Question about 1984 Honda Accord
When the car is put into gear the car will not move. It is a 5 speed standard. Also, the gear shift can be moved around freely when the clutch is not pressed down.
Ether your gear shifter is stuffd or could be gearbox itself

The clutch could be way out of adjustment, the clutch could be completeley worn out, There is no connection between the engine and trans, meaning the input shaft is broken. A drivesahft could be broken (this usually makes a lot of noise when the clutch is let out) Hope that helps narrow it down, really hard to say without see the car.
