Question about Dodge Ram 1500
Can anyone send me a pic of the whole front end so i can see how to change my hub assy for a 2002 dodge ram 4x4 ( front passanger side)
When you take off the front wheels, you can see behind the hub assembly. there should be 4 or 5 star style bolts that hold the hub in place. you can either break them loose on the truck or in a vise. you will need a star socket,( or it may need a 12 point socket?). there is also a big nut in front of the hub that will take a lot of torque to remove (300-500lbs). the axle is probably going to be rusted also, so you will have to work it out. it is easier to buy a hub, some come in pieces, so you'll have to have them pressed together by a machine shop and them put them on. i am getting ready to do this on on my dually and the axle nut is torqued to 500lbs. be careful and i hope this helps you. andy
