2006 chevy trailblazer heater blower motor not working

I have a 2006 chevy trailblazer 6 cylinder 4.2L. Evedrything was working properly and I had to tow a trailer with only a 4 wire harness so i got an adapter used it for the 7 wire to 4 wire connection. Couple of days later my rear right brake light was burned out and my heat no longer worked on any speeds. The brake light turned out to be just the light bulb was burned. I checked all the fuses and the fuses are still good. Not sure what to check next and replace if necessary.

You might wanna check and make sure the heater switch didn't go bad. It could even be the blower motor itself.

the spark plugs are located under the individual ignition coils that each cylinder has in the cylinder head, see picture of one coil that is used for each plug.

Location of spark plugs

carmen.... locate the coil pack.... it has 6 wires going into the top of it. follow each of the six wires from there... they end at the spark plugs. if that motor is mounted sideways... which i doubt as i believe that is a rear wheel drive truck it should be pretty straight forward.
