Question about 1997 Dodge Neon
On start blue smoke comes from my tail pipe 98 dodge neon 86,000 on it no leaks i c
Piston rings or valve stem seals. Both will cause excessive oil consumption and smoking. Worst case scenario: head gasket/head/block issues.

It sounds like you could need some new piston rings. when they go bad it causes oil to get by into the combustion chamber and burn when the engine fires.
