Question about 1998 Ford F150 Regular Cab
I have a Ford 150 pickup. The ABS light keeps flashing. What is the problem?
Unfortunately the abs or anti-lock braking system consist of sometimes many complicated computer controlled components the only way to know for sure (without signs of major braking problems) (or tale tell signs) is to run the computer on a diagnostic scanner which give the error code for the problem ie:sensor x or y out of range pump malfunction etc. Depending on the year you may be able to find a cheap scanner online or at an auto parts store for @$30-@$120 or take it to a GOOD mechanic if you know one and have it diagnosed probably around @$60-$80 US or the dealer will check it and more than likely get it right for around @$80-$100 US
