Question about 1989 Ford F 150
i have a 1989 ford f150 truck runs fine except when i need the power like going up hills or on hot days and we are towing a trailer there is no common thing about any of the times it has stalled out or came close i have recently replaces the water pump and temperture sensor on the engine the only thing that is the same about my problem is that when i start to get above 65mph it starts to bog down and stall out or come very close unless i pull over and give it gas or stop giveing it gas all togather i also notcied that the egngine will start up fine with the oil pressur at normale on the gage and then drop to low and when i give it juice the gage will move back to normale but i have not replaced the oil sender sensor but over all i am at such a loss with this. i am going to change the oil pressur sensor and the fuel filter and see what happens but i was wondering if anyone has any ideas thanks
It could be trying too vapor lock try losing up the fuel cap if that helps then replace it vent holes are plugged up in it also check the fuel pressure regulator
