Re: PO741code Any ideas?
Code = torque converter clutch circuit fault or stuck off. Get the car to a dealer - let him read fault memory and this may point to problem, or it may just be a random spike and he will reset.
I assume the car is running fine ? ........ good luck.

Those are shift solenoid codes which means it's stuck open. Take it to a transmission shop or the ford dealer. It could be the solenoid itself that needs replacing, sometimes you can get away with a transmission flush. Hope this helps.
po128 cooling system preformance, this can be caused by a bad thermostat or fan relay, if the fans are staying on to long and last a bad coolant temp sensor, this car uses two coolant temp sensors, the best way would be with a scan tool to watch the sensor values and see if there are ok, this being a 2009 honda with 32,000 miles , this type of problem is not seen to often. check connections to sensors and make sure wiring is ok,
CODE PO741 - TCC SYSTEM STUCK OFF MECHANICAL CONDITIONS, POSSIBLE CAUSES, ATF LEVEL IS TOO LOW OR THE FLUID IS BURNT OR CONTAMINATED, INSPECT TRANSMISSION LINES TO RADIATOR FOR BENDS OR RESTRICTIONS, OIL PRESSURE SCREEN IS CLOGGED OR DEBRIS IN THE OIL PAN,TCC CONTROL VALVE IS STUCK OFF DUE TO SEDIMENT OR BINDING, TCC REGULATOR VALVE IS STUCK OFF DUE TO SEDIMENT OR BINDING, TCC FEED VALVE IS STUCK OFF DUE TO SEDIMENT OR BINDING, TCC SOLENOID VALVE O - RING OR TURBINE SHAFT SEALS LEAKING OR CUT.
code po741= Bad tcc solenoid, Good news is its a $30 part.....The bad news is you need to drop the transmission to fix it works about to about 13 hours of labor so around $2000 dollars hope this helps you out
it means that your fuel is running too rich, and needs more oxygen for a cleaner burn. i think that your oxygen sesor may be faulty, but have autozone run the trouble codes for you,and see what exact part is bad.
It sounds like the battery is starting to go. You can take it in to get it tested to make sure. Some places (like Wal-mart) do free battery testing. If this is the original battery, five years old, it wouldn't be surprising that it is starting to go.
I don't show any po174 for an 05 corolla. But I do show a po741, if thats the code you're getting.
It means theres a problem with the torque converter
clutch system. It could be the tcc solenoid. Either way, it's related to what you just had done.
