use a pipe wrench also known as a monkey wrench that will work just make sure there is not a lock screw keeping it from turning some aftermarket inner tierods have alittle allen head screw to keep them from turning
put a tune up in it, its not firing on all cylenders so it is not burning the gas like it is supposed to and its going out the tailpipe. fyi, you need plugs, wires, cap and rotor
If you have coolant leaking out of the muffler the head gasket is most likely blown. The head gasket has passageways through it for coolant water, exhaust, intake and engine oil. Depending on which location the gasket has ruptured you can mix fluids or gasses in several combinations. The only way coolant can get to the exhaust is through a cracked head or blown head gasket. If the head is cracked and another head is installed a new head gasket is installed because reusing a used gasket is very risky. The only to be sure what is broken is to take the heads off. If only the head gasket is blown the head is usually warped and should at least be milled if not replaced. I hope this helps.
I presume you are not a welder and do not have welding equipment in your garage. You likely do not have a 'die grinder' type cut off tool to do the cutting for you. My guess is you will eventually get this off (and with the close quarters) but then what?
I think you should seek professional help at the muffler shop, my friend.
I have a 2000 grand caravan with 234000 miles i have had since new. I have had no major problems with it. My best suggestion is if it acts up get it checked. Do not wait until it breaks it should last a while for you. I plan on driving it until it hits 300000. I average maybe 500 a year on general maintence type things. Between, tires, oil changes and things that have never gone bad so it is a very reliable vehicle. Good luck
