Electrical connection for brake switch input

I need to install an electric brake controller on a 2009 Dodge Journey. Where can I splice the red wire for the brake switch input to the controller. The brake switch uses small diameter wires that are hard to splice into. I believe that the switch output is directed to a relay and could possibly provide for a better splice connection.Where can I find this heavier wire ?

I have put alot of break controlers in and you want it to the out put side of break light switch i always hooked it to the switch. Also wherever i spliced i used heat shrink connectors, even if the wires are different sizes thats just the way i do it, and never had any problems.

My light came on for my traction control on my 2009 Dodge Journey 3.5. How can i reset it so i can go back to driving normal?

What colour was the light when it came on? When the system activates a light comes on to tell you it is working. If the light is yellow or green don't worry about it. That's the system working correctly. If it is Red, get it looked at by a good mechanic. **It uses the brakes to work properly**.
Traction Control is a system that is awake all of the time. It constantly monitors whether your getting unwanted wheel spin. If it detects a wheel slipping it uses the brakes to slow that wheel to stop it spinning too much.

Replaced Brakes front and trans fluid on 2009 journey. Now there is no power no dash lights etc. last started Saturday.

The two problems you stated could be unrelated, but one never knows on these new cars today.
Perhaps one or more wire connections have been damaged or made loose when the brake job ETC was done.
You or whom ever did the work has to go back over every thing and make sure no wire's were damaged or disturbed.
