SOURCE: transmission error code P1750

Might be really simple - but EXPENSIVE! I had a similar fault - apparently the first planet set breaks up. Cure - a new box. Price - crippling!

Don't be tempted to skimp on the box. Get a rebuild from a reputable supplier. A s/h box will set you back around £5-600 in UK where a rebuilt (guaranteed) will be more like £1800. The thing with the cheap box is it costs about the same to fit but you don't know how good it is till it's too late! Then you're still shopping for another but you're £600 lighter!

Also, you could be buying other faults. If the speed sensor has had a problem - the box will change badly (snatching) and that will be another £250 where the expensive box will have ahad one fitted!

SOURCE: What combination paperclip in connector under

Depending on what connector is in this vehicle being that some 1995 where OBD2 and some OBD1 it would be better to take it to your local Autozone or Advanceauto they pull codes for free and can give you a print out.

SOURCE: 1995 Cadillac ETC has hard shift (all gears work)

yes change fluid. if that dosnt work buy new shift solinoids. and replace them. also check all the wiring from transmission to pcm and from conector to solinoids when u take the pan off. just disconect the solinoids. and use a digital multimeter innva brand put it on continuity and touch wire after wire till it beeps indicating wiring is touching . some will beep because thay are still conected and would have to remove transmission to disconect them. i just had this exact problem on my 94 sls . i replaced solinoid a-b and did a fluid change and checked the conections going to the transmission. and it runns good now

Check engine light is On,This is indication that there is error code stored in your cars computer. To know what error code is stored in the cars computer. The computer has to be scanned with scan tool. This can be done either at Honda dealer ship or at local auto parts store who has this car error code scanning tool.Once the error code is scanned. It will point out towards the fault.

Service engine soon light came on

The reason the "Check Engine" light comes on is because one of the sensors attached to your vehicle's engine is throwing a signal to the car's computer saying that there is a problem. The problem can be found by plugging into the car's diagnostic port and finding the error code, then fixing the problem. There's one problem with the old "plug a paperclip into the diagnostic port and read codes" trick-it only works on pre-1995 cars, which use OBD1 systems. Cars 1995 to present are OBD2, which require that you use a code scanner. You can purchase a code scanner at just about any car parts store, which can be rather costly and is recommended to be left to having a qualified tech do a computer scan.
I know this tool is helpful for your car.

Obd2 check tricks 2001 dodge durango

On-off with ignition 3 times and you will get error code in odometer. Check the code from the internet gods, it will tell you. Probably small evaporation leak detected from loose gascap. Try removing ground from battery for 10 min, then replace. It should go away. If comes back, something more serious perhaps.
