Question about 1999 Nissan Altima
Similar to another post: The problem first started when you could hear the turn signal "ticking", but double the rate of normal, while the signal switch was in its neutral position.
Now, even while the switch is in neutral position, the left turn signal turns on. When I try to turn on my right-turn signal, nothing happens (i.e. the ticking noise stops, no signal turns on). When I try to turn on my left-turn signal, works just fine.
From the outside, the flashers work just fine, but correspond to the green signal lights inside above the odometer.
I haven't had the bulbs replaced in the past 4 years, but it still looks like the bulbs are doing fine since the outside flashers are working. The highbeam also works without any problems, as does the hazard lights.
Any recommendations on how I can fix this myself? Thank you!
You have a busted bulb, your hazard may be working fine but the bulb is double contact so one part is working and the other is not. just check which bulb is busted.
