You don't have to leave the battery disconnected for days. What you need to do is go to the fuse box underneath the hood. There is a fuse that says Iso harness or something like that. Remove that fuse and put it back on. That should reset the alarm. I have the same issue with the alarm and if you can figuer out how to disarm it. Please let me knw.

If you activate the anti theft on the jeep because of no remote, you have to lock and unlock the passenger side door twice to disarm it.
it is not easy to bypass the anti theft module.a place that installs alarms would be the best bet.get an after market alarm put in for about the cost of a couple remotes.or if you buy a used remote,it can be re programmed using the obd2 diagnostic unit.

My grandcherokee limited 1999 wont star it crank but dont start how i can disarm the anti teft sistem

i would look under the hood for the security system, and then disconnect the connection to it. that is if they installed it there, since you stated that your jeep won't start, i would 1st check the starter relay switch normally located in the power distribution box under the hood on the drivers side. if this doesn't cure the problem after it is checked or replaced, i would then check to see if the engine is recieving fuel, this will have to be done by usuing a fuel pressure tester, that will have to be hooked up to the fuel rail connection on top of engine, it has a small nipple cap, then remove the cap, then hook the tester up to it , and have someone crank the engine over a few times in order to view the fuel reading on the tester, if it is low, or none was present, then problem would most likely be the fuel pump, and it is located inside of the gas tank.

Alarm activated when it wasn't engaged. Now car won't start runn

some alarms have kill switches, but most of them prevent the car from even starting. i would consider strongly getting the remote for the alarm or Completely disconnect the alarm module.

no power usually suggest battery fuse or wiring. anti theft keeps the car from starting but may have also killed the battery. check the battery
