Question about 1990 Toyota 4Runner
1. Change your fuel pump.
2. Have a look at the starter. That is definately the problem.

Have you checked the water in your battery? I've had to replace my battery a few times with my 1990 4Runner maybe you should do this also.

check trasmisson fluild level if it is full check to see if it ssmells burnt if it smells like onions and is brrown then the filter may be plugged and the fluid is burned so you will have to replace it. however most likely it needs to be rebuilt snd tork converter replaced. hope this helps.
