Question about 2003 Ford F150 Regular Cab
If this is really a villager, it is a loose shifter. You listed under F150.
There is 1 or 2 torx bolts that loosen up. You need to remove the plastic steering column cover (2 pieces, about 4 screws) kust behind the steering wheel. Then locate the torx bolts and tighten. It is in the center of the photo pointing down. There may be 2 more facing toward the front of the car. Move the shifter and watch what parts move and look for botls attached to it.
