Question about 2006 Pontiac Vibe
The car started for several seconds after jumping it off. I changed out the battery and the car will not run.
Its probably either the altonator or something to do with the charging system

Need just a little more information ... like is the motor turning ovr with the new battery. have you checked the fuel pump (ignition in the run position not running of course there is a test valve on the fuel rail or close by it that looks like tire valve stem just push and gas should squirt out ... no smoking while doing this ..) if no fuel ... bad fuel pump. if fuel check to see if you are getting a spark by pulling 1 spark plug wire from the plug and positioning it close to a grounding point, have some1 turn the motor over should see a spark if firing. if not firing you have a bad crank sensor. if that checks out check the fuel injector relay ... only way to test is to pull and replace. this is all the info i can give without knowing more information. if helpful please rate
