Question about 2003 Oldsmobile Alero
I have a few large dents on the rear passenger side of my '03 Alero. How would i replace this with a new one? I really don't have to pay $900 for my deductable, and as my car is white, I feel this should be very easy to find a match. I can get access to almost any tool i might need, including a welder. Please help. Thanks!
Well first thing is to cut out the damaged section take it to salvage yard and cut out repair section just slightly larger and since most salvage yards wont allow the use of power tools or torches ... i suggest useing a cold chisel to make that cut just make it larger so you can do more precise triming with the proper tools at shop. here is details with pics on the installation of the new panel http://www.rustrepair.com/11_steps.htm if this is helpful please rate
