Question about 1999 Honda Civic

Rattle in under dash

I have a 1999 honda civic ex and when i drive in 1,2, and 3rd gears i hear a rattle under my dash. what could that be? could it be a heat shield rattling loose or what sholud i look for so i can get the problem fixed? thank you

IT COULD BE A EXHAUST HEAT SHIELD ALOT OF TIMES IF THAT IS WHAT IT IS I JUST REMOVE THEM IT WONT HURT ANYTHING CHECK ON TOP AND BOTTOM OF YOUR CATALYTIC CONVERTER

make sure they are tight
could be time for head gaskets
make sure the old gasket from the old filter came off the block sometimes they come off old filter and stick this causes a leak due to improper seal.
