  • plandscapes Apr 20, 2009

No I have not, is that a hard thing to check--i just replaced all the plugs and put on new wires too what it does is around 3000 rpms it starts cutting out in first, i shift to second and it literally runs great, then i go to third and you hardly notice it and when i shift to fourth it will start cutting out again at 3000 4000 rpms and in 5th it will run ok but cruising you can feel a little miss in the truck at 40 to 50 mph or more

If i remember correctly the Wires go to the rear of the engine and connect to the cap which you should replace and below this is a rotor type affair which you should replace at the same time .. I believe this cap is your coil also check it out. Just hard to get to back there but its where your problem is probably at ...

TYPE OF TRANSMISSION FLUID NEEDED FOR 97 CHEVY CAVALIER AND HOW MUCH

You can use Dexron II or Dexron III, but you can also use the improved Dexron VI which replaces both the afore mentioned fluids. Use Dexron VI as it is an improvment. Caution: Do not overfill. Check fluid level according to the instructions in your owner's manual and make sure the car is parked on a level surface or you will get a false reading.

Trying to find out how much oil the Triton V-10 takes when I do my oil change? I cant seem to find it or anyone who knows

It should be listed in the owners manual, but because of different oil cooler setups you may have to do the change yourself and add oil until the correct level is established..... for the first oil change.
Most likely 7 liters, but start with 5,run the engine to fill the oil filter, let it sit for 5 mins and recheck and fill to full.
Note the amount needed for next time.
