My generator is smoking white smoke and almost dies out. had to shut off because of so much smoke. starts fine then within seconds starts acting up

if its squealing or making noise then the bushings inside the generator are bad. if not the windings inside the generator are not working properly. sounds like the generator is bad.

Hi I got a Toyota corolla 160i gle and it was parked very long so wen i started it wen ideling no smoke BT wen hit da fuel it smokes and on take off BT wen driving it does nt smoke

Generally, it may smoke on startup for a few seconds then quit and seem to run fine, then you hit the gas and it smokes again, so Is it white smoke gray smoke or blue smoke? Because IMO it's either a bad head gasket, bad valve guides, rings are going bad ot dumping to much fuel into carb or injectors.

Ford focus tdci white smoke problems

What happening is you have a bad head gasket or its starting to go bad. As long a little oil is getting in to cylinders causing that smoke once it warms up that gasket is expanding thus the smoke stops. I would keep an eye on oil levels if it gets milky replace gasket asap. Could also be intake gasket but highly doubt it this sounds like a worn head gasket.

2005 IMPALA SMOKES AT START UP

What color is the smoke? The valve seals may be bad. Thus oil leaks into the combustion chamber, and will cause the engine to smoke. Or it could be getting to much fuel at start up. Just let us know what color the smoke is and we can help you a little better.

Car smoke real bad when you crank it up

Sounds like you could have a leaking fuel injector or a bad fuel pressure regulator causing a rich condition at start up or possibly bad valve guide seals causing oil to leak into the combustion chamber, is the smoke blue or black when you start the engine up???

Why does my honda accord smoke reel bad

This is either worn valve stem seals or worn out oil rings. Have someone follow you if the car smokes more as you release the throttle on deceleration it is most likely valve stem seal if it smokes more on acceleration it is worn oil piston rings. If the smoke is white you have a blown head gasket blue smoke means burning oil, black smoke means too rich (to much gas reaching motor)
