Question about Chevrolet Caprice

How do i hook up my tachometer to my 95 chevy caprice it has an lt1 in it and i have no idea how to hook it up its not like the older 350

There should be a hole with a plug on the bell housing of the transmission where a sending unit for the tach would go it will be on either side of it

My 96 chevy caprice with lt1 wont start turn over


i have a 1996 chevy caprice LT1 that wont start due to hurricane sandy the water line of the car was half of the bottom pully which i think the starter got wet when i returned back to the car i turned the key it didnt turn over but i had power is there any solutions please help

I have a 1995 chevy caprice lt1 motor.. i just changed my spark plug... and for some kinda reason it starts to putter when i drive.. why is that?


easy to crack one, or not get a wire on all the way. have you replaced the wires also?? always good to recheck your work and never throw out the idea you could have got a bad plug

Is the 94 caprice classic engin a 350?


probably a 305, check the 8th digit on your VIN #, if it's an R, i think it's a 305, K would mean a 350...hope this helps
also, call chevorlet and they will tell you....also, it could be an LT1

95 chevy caprice pass key fault.


WELL I HAD THE SAME PROB. ON A 95 CHEVY CAPRICE.I REMOVED THE IGNITION AND THE WIRE WAS BROKE.WHEN U TURN THE KEY THE PASS KEY WIRE TURNS WITH THE IGNITION,WHAT A FAULTY DESIGN.ANY HOW BUY A NEW IGNITION AND KEY THAT SHOULD SOLVE THE PROB. GOOD LUCK
