Question about 1991 Honda Accord
My 1992 honda accord has always ran perfect, no problems. Then the other day it would not start. It would crank but not start. I replaced the spark plugs, wires, rotors and plugs. Its still doing the same thing. I dont think i am getting a spark and i need to know what to replace to fix it. thank you!
No spark is uasually caused by a faulty coil or the trigger unit, both are inside the distributor. Get a used distributor fron a scrap yard (about $4o) and replace yours.Remove the dis.cap and turn the engine until the rotor is pointing to fire # 1 cyclinder, and mark the exact position of the base before removing from the block." Do not turn the engine" Install the other Dist. with the base in exactly the same position and the rotor pointing exactly to # 1 cyclinder. Note. Failing to install the other dist.exactly the way you took the first one out will throw the timing out!!!!!
Be doing all of this be sure there is no spark.

In order for any car to start you need 2 things spark and fuel, pour some fuel or starting fluid into carb or throttle if it starts is your fuel pump, if that fails check for a bad coil
