Question about 1997 Cadillac Seville
Brake lights come on after driving the car for 10 min's after hitting the brakes, then they won't go off. i release the brake pedal but all the brake lights stay on. even after shutting off the car the lights stay on. I have to pull the fuse for 5 min. then put the fuse back in, this seems to reset something - i've replace all tail lights w/ new bulbs and checked the wires for cracks - none. can't locate any shorts or crossed wires. it only started happening this week.
I would definitely go after the brake light switch under the L/S dah at the brake pedal . Sounds like it might be sticking. Hope this helps
